RESERVATION DEPOSIT:
A deposit of $150.00 14 days before delivery date non refundable, the balance will be processed at the time of delivery, in the form of an E-transfer to (info@islandrvrental.ca) , cash, or credit card as shown above. You will receive confirmation by email soon after you have submitted the application agreement.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
$150.00 is non refundable if cancelled 14 days prior to rental date.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT:
Your credit card will remain on file to serve as your security deposit until the RV has been returned provided the unit is brought in the same condition prior to rental. If you do not have a credit card then you will be required to E transfer $200.00 to info@islandrvrental.ca .
DELIVERY/PICKUP:
Delivering and pickup to and from your campsite. Our Trailer cannot be pulled on long distant gravel roads therefore all rentals must be within paved road ways. Gravel driveways are acceptable.
DROP OFF time depends on the campsite arrival and PICK-UP based on campsite departure times.
PREPARATION:
We: fill propane tanks, level the trailer, start the fridge/freezer, connect sewer hose, water, connected, 30-amp/15 amp electrical adapter, add sanitation chemicals and provide toilet paper. We empty holding tanks at the end of your stay.
DRY CAMPING (no service parks).
This is basic camping the following items will not run;
microwave, toaster, coffee machine, air conditioner, tv, dvd, no electrical for charging items
ALL CALLS REQUIRING SERVICE ARE SUBJECT TO A SERVICE FEE LOCAL $60.00
Batteries There are two fully charged batteries at time of possession with a solar panel back-up. Batteries will provide light and power to pump water for sink, shower and to flush toilets.
If your batteries die and you require service CALL we will replace batteries.
Water The water reservoir is filled to capacity on dry camping only. It should provide enough water for dishes and toilet flushing for 3-4 days. If you run out of water use a bucket of water to flush toilet consumption and fill dish sink. If you require service for more water CALL we will for a fee come fill your water reservoir, empty grey holding tank and check batteries at the same time
In order to conserve the amount of water during your stay it is recommended that you use the shower facilities at the campground.
Propane There are two on each unit filled to capacity prior arrival.
Propane will provide; fuel for cooking, heat for furnace, heat hot-water tank for dishes
and shower consistently and power the fridge/freezer during dry camping
If they become empty and you require service CALL number provided
PARTIAL SERVICE; water and power , no sewer service.
There are two holding tanks one Black for toilet consumption and one grey for dish and shower water. The black holding tank will last approximately 14 days, the grey holding tank will last 3-4 days.
Even tho you have ample water coming in the water is not going out, the grey holding tank will fill quickly.
IT IS RECOMMEND THAT USING SHOWER FACILITIES AT CAMPGROUND TO CONSERVE ON WATER USAGE
A LOCAL SERVICE FEE OF $60.00 TO REFILL WATER RESERVOIR EMPTY GREY HOLDING TANK ONLY AT SAME TIME CHECK BATTERY USAGE
A One Time Fee of $20.00 will be added to your bill.

INSURANCE:
Includes $2,000,000 liability. Personal contents are not covered
All repairs require preauthorization.
PROHIBITED USES:
RENTER DAMAGE:
If the RV is returned with damages or missing equipment that require repairs or replacement while in your possession, you as the renter are responsible to pay for the damages.
You must report to island rv rental all incidents, theft or vandalism while in possession of the RV
The Renter application releases Island RV Rental from all claims due to loss or damages of your personal property, or that of any other third party persons.

CHILDREN:
Must be monitored at all times. Behaviour such as, jumping on the beds, furniture, table, counters, bathtub and toilet is prohibited. If your child bed wets, it is your responsibility to provide proper covers for mattresses to avoid damage. No wrestling allowed in trailer, and all food must be eaten at the table or outside the trailer.
PETS:
Due to the sensitivity and allergies of renter we do not allow large pets inside the trailers. Small family pets are allowed. There is an extra charge of $5 per day or $25.00 flat fee 5 days or more
Failure to comply with this requirement will result in cost of cleanup to remove excessive pet hair, dander, fleas and pet odour, the rental contract will be charged accordingly.
SMOKING:
There is NO SMOKING in rental units. This will set off alarms. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in loss of damage deposit plus cost of cleanup. Burn marks will constitute loss of deposit plus the costs of replacement or repair.
AWNINGS:
You will be properly instructed on how to use it, If you wish to use the awning you will be responsible for
any damages.
Awnings are very susceptible to wind damage NEVER leave the awning out when it is windy.
If you leave for the day roll the Awning up as weather can change quickly.
BE MINDFUL OF WHERE YOUR CAMPFIRE IS! If you move the campfire closer sparks could burn the awning.
DO NOT hang anything off the awning.
DO NOT allow children to hang off the awning.

The A/C, TV/VCR, radio, DVD, And MICROWAVE:
These items are convenience items. If any malfunctions should occur with any of these items, no compensation will be made to the renter.
These items are NOT available when dry camping.
AIR CONDITIONING:
RV air conditioning is not designed for use over extended periods of time. They can ice up if left on for too long, especially if set too cold or if doors and windows are left open during A/C use. Turn the A/C off if you plan to be out of the unit for any length of time. If icing occurs, you will notice very little airflow from the vents and a lack of cooling. Should this happen, turn the A/C off for 2-3 hours minimum to thaw out. There is NO air conditioning when dry camping.
SAFETY:
The unit is equipped with a fire extinguisher, smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector. Should an alarm sound please exercise common sense exit all persons from trailer. If you require assistance call the number provided.
DO NOT USE CANDLES PROPANE or KEROSENE LANTERNS IN THE UNIT This will set off alarms!!

All units come equipped with propane gas. You are NOT required to refill the tanks. Please do not remove the propane tanks from our units, if you remove a tank there will be a charge for replacement. Removal of our tanks to use on something other than the rental unit can result in damaging the cylinder, which there will be a charge to replace.
CLEANING:
The unit it must be returned in the same condition it was delivered, cleaned and sanitized.
An inspection will be done at time of pick up. If it is returned in unsatisfactory condition a charge will incur.
A check list is provided.
All personal belongings must be removed. Island RV Rentals will not be held responsible for items left in RVs at time of return.
RV INSPECTIONS UPON RETURN:
Upon return of the RV, immediate inspection will be done before unit is forwarded to next location. If this inspection reveals any damage, that was not reported it will be properly
documented and you will be notified immediately to discuss any additional charges.
The Renter agrees to pay all charges in excess by authorized use of the credit card provided
and hereby agree to not dispute these charges.
WAIVER AND LIABILITY :
Island RV Rental’s ability to provide a rental unit subject to its return by the previous renters and beyond Island RV Rental’s control due to damages . If, for any reason the unit reserved is not available should another unit NOT BE available, Island RV Rentals liability will be limited to the refund of all refundable monies paid by lessee including deposit.
